Nortruss fabricate and design timber and steel roof trusses and steel wall frames that are tailor made to suit project requirements. With our vast experience and industry knowledge we work with local builders and project managers to ensure the best possible outcome on all construction jobs.
Nortruss has the largest truss manufacturing plant in Northern Australia, with four manufacturing lines featuring the latest flow through technology and automation. The means trusses with spans up to 24 metres can be manufactured, catering for everything from housing developments to major construction projects.
Nortruss has accurate, state-of-the-art cutting equipment with automated table jigs and roller presses. This fully computerized plant enables us to manufacture large roof trusses and high volume outputs with ease, providing cost effective manufactured products for our customers.
Structural Steel Fabrication
Our structural steel division, incorporating steel truss manufacture, produces a wide range of products from hold down bolts to various truss over brackets, cleats and angle fixings.
A specialty product of our steel fabrication plant is cast-in plates for bored pier and slab edge footings. We also have the capacity to produce residential steel columns, bearers and roof beams for supporting first floor structures and roof structures.
Other manufactured steel components include awing frames, air conditioning brackets and various timber post and stirrup connections. We also make structural components to order as part of our service to builders.
Steel Wall Frames – Pre Assembled
Nortruss is the largest and most experienced steel wall frame fabricator in Northern Australia.
Our wall frame division manufactures ready assembled, fully welded steel stud wall frames which are ideal products for building in the Top End. They provide many advantages being cheaper, cooler and often stronger than conventional block work frames.
Together with hold down bolts, distribution washers and other components, we offer builders a complete and convenient wall framing product that is tailored to local conditions and requirements.
